well i went to fort knox on wednesday thru friday with another bud of mine for my friends graduation from boot camp. hes in the army. it was pretty cool actually. there wasnt a whole lot we could do, since it is a military base and theres all kinds of rules and regulations, but we still managed to find some things to do.
the trip down there, and in case you dont already know, fort knox is in kentucky, was long. it took us like 5 hours or so to get down there, and about 6.5 to get back. wasnt much scenery; farm, city stuff, more farm. but i managed to keep myself entertained.
yeah it snowed down at knox the first day, like and inch and a half, and 80 the next day so that was weird. otherwise very nice. no wind. that was weird too.

so all in all, we all had a good time and i was thrilled i could make it to his graduation. weve known eachother since fourth grade, so it was cool to finally hang out with him after ten weeks of being gone. and now hes off to missouri for his individual training; hes gunna be a moter vehical transporter. sweet.
